Filter Bracket Late Bug 68-73

This is my late model version of my oil filter bracket that I have been making/selling for 3years. For three years have been hearing “do you make one for late models?” well now I do here it is. The same concept as my bracket for early bugs but for late models 68-73. Not for the later 74-79 shock bumpers.

The bracket is made to work with the standard three bolt USA made oil filter mount/adapters. Filter mount/adapter/fittings etc are not included with the kit. With the kit you get the bracket, all hardware, and two page instruction sheet.

The bracket is machined from Billet 6061-T6 in house here in the USA, all the hardware is made from stainless steel. The mounting height is the same as hanging a standard three bolt filter mount from the front bolt on your 68-73bug bumper bracket. Most people just put a bolt through the upper hole on the filter mount and hang it from the bumper bracket bolt. I say hang because it is not solid and can move. I went with the same height/location so you would not have to re plumb to use the bracket.
